Facilities Updates

Update on Gateway Campus

A permanent home for our school, coming in 2024!

Our new building will be a 3-story structure located on the corner of Gateway Blvd and Pico Blvd. The new facility brings innovation, playfulness and meticulous planning to create a campus for our upper elementary school grades in combination with the existing 2-story classroom building. When we complete the new facility, our 5th graders will move to this new campus and our 6-8th graders will remain at our Ivy campus at Webster Middle School.

We expect construction to be complete in 2023 and the building to be open for students in 2024.

Designed by founding parents at CWC Mar Vista, our new building will capture the joy, beauty and values of our learning model. Classrooms will have natural daylight, calm colors and space for the children to spread out, engage in mindfulness activities, and foster their social emotional development.

Once the construction is complete the building will feature:

  • 12 classrooms
  • Art/enrichment room
  • Continued parking
  • Library
  • Secure access points to the new campus
  • Special education spaces
  • Flexible enclosed/open lunch space
  • Inside/outside play/recreation space
  • Solar panels to power the site
  • Outdoor play and collaboration spaces
