1st Grade Lead Teacher

I’m a true southern California girl – raised in San Juan Capistrano in Orange County and graduated college from San Francisco State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. My career path took a small detour when she moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and entered the corporate world working in branding and licensing, fashion and real estate. After six years, I decided to return to my true passion: teaching. In 2016, I completed my teaching credentials at Antioch University in Culver City. Antioch’s mission of social justice, equality in education, and social-emotional learning have aligned beautifully with the mission here at CWC. Throughout the years I have worked with children from all age groups, most recently I have been teaching first grade, but I have also been a preschool teacher, camp supervisor, after-school program supervisor, organizational tutor, and teaching associate.

When I’m is not teaching I enjoy riding my bike around Venice, going to the beach, hiking, spending time with family, traveling as much as possible, and of course rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals!
