Kindergarten Lead Teacher
Arielle has an extensive background in theatre and graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University. While in undergrad, she spent a summer with Pepperdine Scotland devising a play at the Royal Conservatoire and performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Upon graduation, Arielle began working for Theatricum Botanicum, an outdoor theatre company best known for its Shakespeare productions and educational programs. She returns every summer to teach, and currently holds the position of Education Programs Assistant there. Although she has 8 years of experience teaching theatre, ever since she was in preschool herself, Arielle has always wanted a classroom of her own. To make this dream a reality, she applied and was admitted into CSUN’s Accelerated Collaborative Teacher (ACT) Preparation Program. This selective, rigorous program crammed 41 units of study and two semesters of full-time student teaching into nine months. During her time as a teacher candidate, Arielle discovered her heart for social-emotional learning and constructivism. Upon discovering CWC, Arielle knew it was the school of her dreams. She is unbelievably thrilled to be a part of the CWC Mar Vista family as she begins this new chapter in her teaching career. Arielle’s students can expect to sing, dance, and play their way through all areas of study. When she is not teaching, Arielle can be found in the sunshine with her dog, cooking, or spending time with her incredible friends. She is looking forward to a fabulous school year!
