Art - TK-4th

I am a passionate arts specialist deeply dedicated to developing rich arts experiences for learners of all ages. After graduating summa cum laude from Stephen’s College with a BFA in Theater Arts and English, I have spent the past eighteen years working with children and teaching a variety of arts-based programs, while focusing on developing new ways to integrate the arts into all learning. In 2005, I created and founded SmART Space, Creative Arts Programs, a unique art enrichment company in West LA. In my work with SmART Space over the past nine years, I designed, implemented and facilitated arts programs that promoted innovative thinking and encouraged children to develop their own voice. Through my work with SmART Space, I discovered an interest in early childhood education and spent the past few years researching child development, as well as teaching, co-creating, and volunteering in local preschools. I am thrilled to join the CWC Mar Vista team and look forward to sparking curiosity and creativity in all students (and staff!) at CWC.

My favorite “art project” to date is my daughter Aubrielle, who loves unicorns, cookies, laughing, rainbows, and friends (just like her Mom!).
