Assistant Principal of Special Education
I am so grateful to take on the role as Assistant Principal of Special Education here at CWC Mar Vista!
This past year, I worked as the RSP teacher at CWC Mar Vista – Ivy Campus. It has been an amazing year where I have seen meaningful growth experiences with students and productive collaboration with passionate members of the CWC staff. I have especially enjoyed the welcoming environment and productive partnerships I’ve experienced from CWC families.
Prior to joining CWC, I taught special education in the northern suburbs of Chicago. One of my areas of expertise is providing strategies for problem-solving students’ social, emotional, academic, and behavioral needs. In this new role, I am very excited to bring some of my previous managerial and organizational experience to help our special education department best meet the needs of all our students and families.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters degree in Teaching from National Louis University. I am the mother of two amazing boys who have made their way through the K-12 experience and beyond. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, yoga, meditation, and spending time with my family.
