I am originally from England and after obtaining a BA Honors Degree in History and Geography from the University of Sheffield, I went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. More recently I gained a MSc in Educational Leadership from Leicester University.
I have been in education for the past 15 years and I have had the privilege to work in schools in the UK, the USA and most recently Taiwan. I was the Assistant Head Teacher at a large international school in Taipei, Taiwan. Over the past four years I have had a number of responsibilities but the most rewarding has been leading curriculum change. Developing a curriculum that is purposeful and inquiry based, that promotes global citizenship while having fun, is where my passion lies.
I love to travel and whilst living in Taiwan, I have been inspired by the culture and opportunities. I enjoy being outdoors and spend time hiking with our two dogs. I also enjoy yoga and running.
