Beginning her musical career at the age of four, Katie has performed and participated in various musical genres including musical theater, vocal jazz, Western classical voice, north Indian classical, gamelan (Indonesian musical ensemble), and Bulgarian women's choral music. After graduating college, Katie spent time in Jaipur, India on a language scholarship funded by the U.S. Department of State and now is OPI certified to speak Hindi. When not teaching or performing music, Katie can be found near the ocean training for triathlons or practicing yoga. She is very excited to begin her first year with CWC Mar Vista and looks forward to contributing to a strong, collaborative educational environment.
