Juliet Curry – Visual Art Teacher
Juliet Curry is a passionate arts specialist deeply dedicated to developing rich arts experiences for learners of all ages. After graduating summa cum laude from Stephen’s College with her BFA in Theater Arts and English, Juliet spent the past eighteen years working with children and teaching a variety of arts based programs, while focusing on developing new ways to integrate the arts into all learning. In 2005, Juliet created and founded SmART Space, Creative Arts Programs, a unique arts enrichment company in West LA. In her work with SmART Space over the past nine years, Juliet designed, implemented and facilitated arts programs that promoted innovative thinking and encouraged children to develop their own voice. Through her work with SmART Space, Juliet discovered an interest in early childhood education and has spent the past few years researching child development, as well as teaching, co-creating, and volunteering in local preschools. Juliet is thrilled to join the CWC Mar Vista team, and looks forward to sparking curiosity and creativity in all students (and staff!) at CWC.
Juliet’s favorite “art project” to date is her daughter Aubrielle, who loves unicorns, cookies, laughing, rainbows, and friends (just like her Mom!).
